Retreats and Pilgrimages

Throughout the year our students take part in a programme of retreats, provide our students with the chance to pause, reflect and grow closer to God. 

Every year, all students take part in an offsite retreat, with their year group. This provides the chance to pray and reflect together on the ways in which God is speaking us and to process and discuss the challenges of the school year. The dates for the 2023/24 year group retreats are currently being confirmed and will be published here in early October. 

Throughout the year each form group will also participate in a short form time reflection in the school chapel, led by our Chaplain and their form tutor. This time together at the start of the day provides the chance to join together in thanksgiving for the members of staff and the peers that accompany our students through their time at Bishop Challoner. The dates for the 2023/24 form group retreats are also being confirmed and will be published here in early October.
