Looking to move your child to Bishop Challoner for September 2020?

At this time of year many families will have found that their child has been allocated a school place that they did not apply for. This sadly is normal across all local authorities. Our senior schools are both Voluntary Aided, which are their own admissions authorities and as such are never allocated children in this way. That is why despite being amongst the most successful and highly regarded schools in our area we usually have some spaces available at this time and will therefore fill up with applications such as yours from families that would rather make a different choice. This process usually includes visiting the school and meeting with our Executive Headteacher. However in the present circumstances that is not possible. At present all you need to do is to follow the link below and this information will go directly to our Admissions Team. They will make contact with you and process your application for you.

School Closure Work

School Closure Work

For the vast majority of our parents, school closure will mean that their children will be studying at home until further notice. Emails have been sent home with the work that students can do and guidance on how to drop off and exchange that work with their teachers for marking. These documents are also available below It is very important that they complete this work and that parents encourage and assist them in doing so. The length of this closure means that serious damage can be done to their education if they do not.
