On Friday, 15th October our Year 7 students enjoyed an engineering workshop organised by our Maths department and the University of East London. During the workshops they learned about the complexities of designing a plane and the materials used in building them. They then had the chance to use what they had learned to make modifications to improve their very own (model!) planes
