Consolidation Week Information

Consolidation Week

Over the past four weeks staff have provided a range of tasks and activities for students to complete. Following pupil and parent/carer feedback we know that not everyone has managed to complete everything for a variety of reasons. This week our staff will be supporting students to consolidate the learning that has taken place since the beginning of January and catch-up where they have fallen behind.

Students have been set one task from each subject area to complete during the week, the task has been set via Satchel One as usual.

This week is an opportunity for all students to consolidate what they have learnt so far and will be particularly important for those students who have fallen behind with their studies.

What you can do to help

We appreciate that home learning may present some challenges for both you and your child. We kindly ask for your support so that we can continue to provide high-quality education for your child during this time.

Our top tips:

  • Try to encourage your child to be ready and dressed for the start of the school day, and to complete the activities that they are set each day
  • Distinguish between weekdays and weekends, and make it clear when the school day is over, to separate home and school life
  •  Plan breaks and exercise into the day to help keep your child active

Please keep in touch with us and do let us know if you’re having any difficulties with remote learning by contacting your child’s Head of Year.
