Staff Research

Every teacher, whether they’ve taught for two months or twenty years, has a unique insight into what it is to be a teacher. The research and development programme seeks to use this knowledge and create a Bishop Challoner research community where teachers actively engage in research to inform practice. Overseen by Dr L Cooper and led by Mr M Hortop this initiative will create a network of SIRGs (School Improvement Research Groups) – the finding of these groups will be supplemented by the wealth of post-graduate research being done by staff members.
