Results & Performance Tables
Bishop Challoner Girls’ School is happy to report another consecutive year of excellent results. The Girls’ School boast a 70% A* to C rate, with 24% of students achieving A* or A grades, and particularly impressive is that over 80% of students gained A*-C grades in English, Mathematics and Religious Education. Against a national picture of confusion and unrest surrounding changes to GCSEs the school is proud that its outstanding teaching and support has ensured that each one of its students has achieved their potential, with results improving for another year.
Results that are particularly outstanding include Enyi Chen and Ngoc Ly with 8 A*s and an A each and Paulina Petraityte with 7A*s and 2As. Chantelle Easmon-Johnson, Head of the Girls’ School is delighted with the results, saying: “This year’s results have been incredibly pleasing with outstanding performances in English, Maths, RE and history to name but a few. Individual results have also been brilliant with a number of students securing A*s in all of their subjects.”
The vast majority of students receiving results will begin Year 12 at Bishop Challoner Sixth Form in September. The Post-16 team look forward to welcoming them into a Sixth Form that last week received another set of excellent results at AS and A Level and it’s best results ever for BTEC.
