Students Visit Hampton School for Genocide Awareness Day
Earlier this week Ms Carrier took 10 Year 9 students to Hampton School for their Genocide Awareness Day:
There they met and heard the firsthand testimonies of three survivors of genocides including the Rwandan genocide, Bosnian genocide and the Holocaust, and then worked with other London schools on poetry, exhibitions, art and journalism to reflect on what they had learnt. They were an asset to our school – perfectly well-behaved, articulate and insightful.
We thank the history department for being so helpful in organising and supporting this trip.
